Only Dimethyl fumarate is banned not silica gel
People has turned out to be cautious as they think that silica gel and dimethyl fumarate are one and same.
But in reality silicagel is very pure and natural product and it dont have any connection with dimethyl fumarate.
Some chinese companies used Dimethyl fumarate instead of silicagel and that what caused the problem
Hence it is very safe to assume that silica gel is not banned at all and it is usable
